light on IOWA:
a conversation with Nancy Rexroth
Conversations with Photographers/Light on IOWA, partially funded by Fotofocus, is an intimate conversation between photographers Ann Segal and Nancy Rexroth. Rexroth used a Diana camera to create a unique body of work in the 70’s that she included in her seminal book IOWA. The video was produced by Ann Segal, shot by Scott Ginn and edited by both. Because of the pandemic its premiere was postponed from Fotofocus 2020 to a Zoom in conjunction with Cincinnati Art Museum in April 2021 and in person at the Esquire Theater in October 2021. The video will also be shown with some of Rexroth’s prints at Gallery Ten Nineteen December 2- January 30, 2022. Cincinnati Art Museum has purchased all of Rexroth’s work and will be showing it TBD.
